Conclusion:

The Chambord received high ratings from its consumers because the product does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It makes the best tasting coffee – according to many satisfied consumers. The unit is quite sturdy, well made and looks great. Although, just like other French Press coffeemakers, it requires more clean when compared to auto-drip coffee makers and transferring coffee to a thermos or an insulated mug is advisable to keep coffee warm longer or to avoid over extraction. But don’t be scared to try a French Press because it isn’t about making coffee easier or faster, rather it’s about taking the time to indulge yourself with great tasting coffee.

  1. Nice website.

For those of us who are coffee enthusiasts and who know a bit of the history of coffee we know that Melior made the original french press. (I have and continue to use my Melior some 30 years after I bought it!)

For a reference to the history of this great product, bought in 1991 by the more well-known Bodum company, you might want to check out: https://www.bodum.com/gb/en/history.

It still looks the same, works the same, and produces the same great coffee no matter what name is on the beaker.
